Since its inception in 2009, the American Patriot Memorial Foundation has achieved great successes. After more than a decade of hard work within the City of Tucson and the City of South Tucson, we have become an American Patriot Memorial Beacon.
With the help of our APM members, we have been able to make certain successful strides.
We’re pleased to announce that these are:
- The organization of the first Business Association of South Tucson
- The establishment of an American Veteran Enterprise
- The establishment of the first Veteran Memorial Beacon in the City of Tucson
- Becoming the spearhead for the economic development of the City of South Tucson through the Council of the economic development affairs of LULAC 1057 and 1120
- Becoming an advisory to the Mayor and Vice Mayor of the City of Tucson in Veteran Affairs
- Received honor with proclamations for our Veterans Affairs endeavors
- Becoming a representative to the City of South Tucson and the City of Tucson in the Veterans Court Committee.
- The establishment of the Annual Patriot Day Commemoration service 3 years ago for the City of Tucson.
- Facilitated in the renaming of a regional sports park in honor of Sgt. Todd Harris
- Planned and hosted the dedication of the Gold Star Mothers monument at Evergreen Cemetery.
- Formation of the American Patriot Press
- Establishment of the American Patriot Community Service Pin and Award
- Development of the APM and Gold Star Families Plaza in conjunction with Pima County and the Pima County Regional Flood Control District
